Happy Birthday Wyatt!

This past weekend we had a little birthday party for Wyatt's 1st birthday! (still can't believe he's a year old!!) We just did something small with family and a few of our neighbors stopped by as well. Wyatt had a great time and we really enjoyed everyone coming by to help us celebrate! Here are a few pictures from the day:

It's my birthday!

Looking at the candle...

Learned not to actually touch the flame though...

A little afraid of the cake that hurt him...

but Momma looks like she could use some.

Maybe this isn't so bad afterall!

Icing!

Don't tempt me...I may just throw this at you
Daddy needs a bite too.

This is fun after all!

Winter 2011

We went an entire week with snow every single day. I feel like we've moved to Alaska or something!! Can't wait for spring!!! This last snow gave us about 9 inches or so and really was a pretty snow when it first fell. But this cold that has come with it is really starting to agrivate me!

We have been doing great here though...Robb went and picked up our new furniture yesterday so we have all of that in. I will be posting before and after pics once we finish moving a couple of things around in there. It's quite the change for the better already! :) So excited!

Wyatt's been doing great...can't believe he turns 1 year old today!! It seems like he was just a little guy (well not really little, but little for him). Crazy how much can change in just one year. He's turning into such an independent little guy. I think we fall more in love with him every day and his infectious smile and laugh, never fails to make us forget anything that was bothering us before. :) He's such an amazing little guy!!

By the way, he woke up super early this morning ready for his birthday!! I've tried explaining to him that his actual party isn't until tomorrow, but I'm not sure he cares ;)

As always, here are some updated pictures!
Love you guys!

Loves his truck

Thanks Aunt Julie and Uncle Greg for this awesome cow!

Snow on my birthday!

New Year

I know...major slacker here hasn't had a chance to update this lately...been a little chaotic with our first holiday season with Wyatt. But it has been so much fun!!! Santa was good to us all! Wyatt has more toys than he knows what to do with now! :)

We are finally slowing down with rides now for a little bit. A much needed break for Robb! Starting to get caught up on chores and some more home renovations that take a back seat during busy times. We're currently working on the main bathroom doing a little face lift. Hoping to get that done in the next few weeks. After that, there will officially be no more wallpaper left in the house!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!! I can't wait!

We have ordered some new living room furniture to bring a major face lift to our living room. I can't wait for that to get here next week! It is BEAUTIFUL!!! (and super comfy!)

We're getting geared up for Wyatt's first birthday party next weekend!! Yay! I can't believe it's been a year already! It seems like it litterally flew by. He's starting to stand up on his own now, which we're guessing means walking is knocking at our door. I just love that look on his face when he stands  up and realizes he's doing it all by himself...so proud of himself! He's learning new things all the time now with sign language (he can sign "Please" and we're now working on a few other signs) and sounds and words (loves to say Bye Bye and moo like a cow...we're working on the pig sound for you Mom!)

Here are some pictures since we last left you all:
