Happy Monday!

After a crazy chaotic week last week...we're hoping this week is a lot quieter and a lot less exciting! It seems we all had doctor's appointments at some point last week and all the fun that comes with those. So at least that's out of the way for awhile! :)

Had a busy weekend with lots of rides, but I think it'll calm down a little bit for a little while until the holiday season crowd comes in.

Had a good weekend...Wyatt had a playdate with Owen (born the same day)...Robb had lots of rides...tried out a new church that was...interesting...but Wyatt had fun playing in the nursery there so that was good. All in all, Robb and I were both pooped last night.
Still no sign of Roscoe...still holding on to a little bit of hope....

Things are getting really busy around here so that's a good sign! We've been getting lots of rides lately and lots of phone calls for rides coming up soon, so we're excited! The fall colors are perfect right now! So pretty to look out and see all the colors.

Nothing else too exciting going on...just trying to keep up with chores...Robb's been splitting firewood, raking leaves, blowing leaves, chopping trees, mowing, etc. etc. in between training horses, doing rides, etc. etc....Wyatt and I have been supervising mostly, but helping when we can :) haha We were all outside working on the yard last night and we'd put Wyatt on a blanket to play while we raked and I kept watching afraid he was just going to roll down the hill that is our yard the whole time! haha but he didn't...he was very amused with the sound of the rake and with playing with leaves.

We have a sad kitty...Daisy is just laying around on the porch crying, looking for her brother...it's been a week. Roscoe disappeared last week and at this point, I'm doubting he'll make it back. You were a good friend Roscoe, we'll miss you dearly. :(

Wyatt has learned how to wave! It all started yesterday with him giving high fives, then in the bath tub last night he started waving at us! Cutest thing ever! Now of course he's waving at everything...haha but here's a short clip of his "waving" Enjoy!

Sorry for the lack of updates...just have been running around a little bit lately. We are so excited fall is here! It's been much cooler here lately with mornings starting out in the 30's! So excited after all the heat this summer. We've been enjoying our new windows so far with heat actually staying in the house now and not just flowing right on out. Our wood stove has been going most of the week and has kept the house nice and warm! :)

Our fall rush is starting to trickle in with next week looking like it'll pick up a lot. Robb has been getting all of the horses ready to go again with all the leaf lookers coming to town! He's also got a few horses in for training right now, one of which is a huge girl...some sort of draft horse mix. So that's always fun to watch the transition of the horses from beginning to end of training.

Wyatt is doing well...learning to pull himself up on things, so we're a little terrified. We put up some baby gates finally this week to help keep him from getting into too much trouble around the house. That's been entertaining.

Other than that we're just doing great! Getting ready to start thinking about the holidays and what all fun that brings.
