First Hiking Trip

Today was such a perfect day to be outside and Robb was done early with the barn...so we decided to go on a little hiking adventure (first one with Wyatt). So we headed up to one of our favorite spots, Standing Indian (also where we got engaged almost 2 years ago). Robb had seen something recently about a few waterfall trails up there that we hadn't been to so we decided to scope it out. Wyatt loved being outside with us! He laughed and talked and giggled the whole way! It was such a fun afternoon!

We started out with the stroller...

And quickly changed to the carrier instead!

Jenna's Birthday

Last weekend we went to Brevard and spent some time visiting with everyone there. We also went to a birthday party for Jenna (she turned 2 years old!) and had a blast watching everyone on the water slides and playing! So much fun! Needless to say, we forgot to bring the present over to the party, so Jenna came over the next day to open her present while we were still in town. Wyatt decided he needed to help her open it...here's the scene:

Happy Birthday Jenna!
Notice Jenna's face...haha (she was smiling)

Can I help?

What? I was helping!

Yummy paper....

While in Brevard Wyatt also learned about the piano with GG...
Pianos are fun!

And then there were three...

We now officially have 3 teeth and a happy baby (for now)! And he's figured out how to go from laying down to sitting up all by his self. It's a busy time around here!

We took Wyatt outside this afternoon for a little breather and to enjoy the pretty weather after the crazy rainy weekend we had and he discovered Roscoe and wanted to play, but Roscoe wasn't so sure and kept his distance...

Hope everyone's week is off to a good start!

Crawling!

So I wanted to stay home with Wyatt because I couldn't stand the idea of missing a single "first" and today is proof that I did the right thing. I was working in the office when the sitter yelled "He's crawling momma!" and I looked out and sure enough, Wyatt was crawling across the floor! :)
Look out world, here he comes!

Food!

Food has become a new obsession of our son...everything we eat or drink he watches and shrieks for a taste. So we've begun letting him explore more foods and tastes. We're giving him bites and sips of what we're eating, and so far he's loving being able to try new things. His favorite thing is when he can actually bite something off with his two little teeth (like a piece of cracker). He bites it off and then laughs. It's so cute! So needless to say, we're off to the store this week to get more baby friendly finger foods for him to experiment with.

I survived my first weekend on call with my new job. Very little going on, so it was a good first weekend on call. I stuck around the house because of this and got caught up on a few things. Finished painting all of the trim in the office (besides the ceiling trim) now that the new windows are in. Got caught up on cleaning and laundry and spent some good fun quality time with Wyatt and Robb, so that was fun! :) I think we've decided for my sanity that it's finally time to break down and get a Blackberry so the weekends I am on call, I can still get out and about some without having to stay attached to my computer. I so didn't want to be one of those people, but I think it's appropriate now...oh well...

Some new pictures to leave everyone with for now...

No Sir!

We are learning what No Sir means in our house right now. Currently, Robb or I say, "No Sir" when Wyatt is doing something he's not supposed to, and Wyatt does this:
