First Haircut

We finally had to do it yesterday...we couldn't take the old man comb over look anymore that Wyatt had going on...here's a pic before:
And here's a picture after:
I think he looks much cuter now (so does his daddy)! It still looks like he's got kind of a mohawk going on because all of the hair on the sides is falling out, but it doesn't look as crazy as it did before.

Wyatt is doing so well at sitting up now! (See top picture) he loves it! He'll sit up for like 15-20 minutes at a time, just enjoying the change of perception I think. It's so cute!

Wyatt has also decided that he is going to try to figure out this whole crawling thing. I think he's been watching his cousin, Micah, and is trying to figure out why when Micah rolls on his belly, he moves. So Wyatt will roll onto his belly and it looks like he's swimming or trying to be an inchworm or something. I think we're still a ways from the crawling actually taking place, but it's neat to see that idea in his head. :)

The baby swing is no more...I put him in it yesterday and he kept trying to sit up while it was swinging which made him almost fall out several times...it was fun while it lasted!

Things are really busy with the barn right now. Robb is working crazy long days, but is enjoying every minute of it! We took Wyatt out to walk around in the pasture with the horses the other night and it's so neat to watch how the horses just want to see Wyatt. They are really intriuged by him. They are so calm and careful with him, but they all want to smell him some and are always willing to let him pet them. His eyes get so big and he thinks it's so funny when they blow on him thru their nose as they are smelling. I just love watching him interact with the world and learn about it in his own way. I'm so happy that Wyatt has all these amazing animals and beautiful land to grow up with. Robb has already come up with a fun place on the property down by one of the creeks that I think he's going to turn into a little get away for us where we can have a hammock and chairs set up in the trees by the creek where we can kick back and Wyatt can play and explore.

Back to work for now...
